zooM zooM Agility Academy

zooM zooM Agility Academy was formed on my love of teaching agility and concept based games training. Training is available for all levels, and all ages of dog from puppies to seniors, from beginners to advanced levels.  We are a small facility that specializes in smaller class sizes.

Instructor

zooM zooM Agility Academy was founded in May of 2021 for my Tollers Zoom and Image (MM). No longer here but always with me. In 2020 I became certified as a Pro Dog Trainer. Along with teaching agility I teach games based  training helping dogs to be more focused and optimistic.

I started agility in 1998 with my first Jack Russell Terrier Rascal. A couple of Jack Russell Terriers, a Corgi, and six Tollers later I still continue to compete in Agility along with obedience, rally, barn hunt and dock diving.

I began teaching agility in 2002. I continued to teach at several facilities before starting my own facility in May of 2021.  Now retired from my Corporate job, teaching is my full time focus.

Astro Dog walk.jpg

Astro (12/01/02 - 12/28/10)

Astro attended only one National in his agility career. Astro earned his first CATCH in 2008 and his first CATE in 2010. The day he earned his CATE was the last day he played agility. Fifteen days later he was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Wedge Catch.JPG

Wedge (3/8/99 - 9/22/14)

Wedge was my heart dog. Wedge loved to play agility. Wedge earned his first CATCH in 2006, earned 3 Specialist CATCHes and earned his CATE in 2009. He missed going to the 2010 Nationals due to a broken leg.  Wedge played agility for over 13 years. He was able to retire at the age of 14.

Zoom (6/21/11- 9/17/18)

Zoom was my heart, This dog had so much strength and was taken way too soon. Zoom earned her first CATCH in 2015, went on to get 3 CATCHs, 4 CTATCHs and her CATE in 2017. All while fighting liver cancer. She got the gamble at the  2016 CPE Nationals which will always be a highlight for me in her career.

Spark NADAC.jpg

Spark (5/28/12 -8/5/20)

Spark only attended one CPE National in 2014.  While he did not earn any large titles he was by far the sweetest dog I have owned.  He was super handsome.  Spark loved to swim and play frisbee, He was taken too soon by an unexpected heart tumor.

What They Say About Us

We love ZoomZoom Academy.  Jen has awesome ideas for puppy training.  Very positive and fun.  My puppy and I can't wait for class each week.

Lisa

Jen has been my instructor for 15 years in agility, and more recently games classes, rally and obedience.  She has been instrumental in helping me achieve my goals with my dogs; from national level agility competition to teaching me the tools I need to help my dogs focus on me in different situations.  Her classes are fun and a great learning experience!

Amy

If you want to create a great partnership with your dog while having fun, learning a lot, respecting who they are , then zooM zooM Agility Academy is for you!  Jen is encouraging, patient, and wants her students/handlers to succeed!
